The paper sculpture as part of the group exhibition DWD events to support Mental Health Awareness 2019 in Bristol.

I reflect my personal feelings and fear of bugs into this minimalist paper sculpture. The caterpillar which rests on the top of the box also presents worrying thoughts creeping into our minds. Functionality and precision
in mechanics is a key feature of my art, and so too the caterpillar is made as a mechanical object. There are magnets on the inside of each
component, allowing the body to be moved and reshaped as required.
